Equipment

Instant Pot

Ingredients

  • 6-12 hard-boiled eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • large bowl full of ice

Instructions

  • Pour 1 cup of water into the bottom of your Instant Pot.
  • Place the Instant Pot trivet in the Instant Pot, and place your eggs in an even layer on top of the trivet.
  • Set your Instant Pot to cook on high pressure for 5 minutes. (3-4 minutes if you’d like soft boiled eggs.)
  • Once cooking time is done, let the pressure naturally release for about 3-5 minutes, then manually release the rest.
  • Carefully remove the eggs from the Instant Pot and place them in your ice bath. Let them sit for about 5 minutes.
  • Remove the eggs from the ice bath, peel, and enjoy!
  • Hard-boiled eggs can be stored peeled or unpeeled in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
