Canned biscuits in the air fryer come out golden on the outside and fluffy in the middle, no oven needed. This method uses Pillsbury Grands-style biscuits and a slightly lower temperature to ensure the center cooks through before the outside over-browns.
1packagerefrigerated canned biscuits (I used Pillsbury Grands - Homestyle Buttermilk Biscuits)
light cooking spray
Instructions
Lightly spray the inside of the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
Place biscuits in the bottom of the air fryer in a single layer-don’t stack! If the biscuits don't all fit in your air fryer at once, air fry them in batches.
Set the air fryer to 330°F to 350°F. Cook biscuits for 6 minutes, then flip and rotate. Cook for another 4 to 6 minutes for regular biscuits, or 5 to 7 minutes for Pillsbury Grands, until golden brown outside and cooked through in the center.
Notes
Start at 330°F if your air fryer tends to brown food quickly, or if you're using larger biscuits like Pillsbury Grands.
Pillsbury Grands usually need 10 to 12 minutes total. Regular-sized canned biscuits cook faster, usually 7 to 9 minutes.
If the outside is golden but the center is still doughy, turn the air fryer off and leave the biscuits in the closed basket for 2 to 3 minutes.
Do not stack biscuits or crowd the basket — cook in batches if needed.
Oven-style air fryers may need a few extra minutes; place biscuits on the middle rack.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator, or freeze for up to 3 months.
