This burger sauce is a tangy, creamy mix of mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon, dill pickles, and hot sauce with a touch of smoky paprika. Ready in 5 minutes and even better the next day.
2tablespoondill pickles(finely chopped) or dill relish
¼teaspoonsmoked paprika
¼teaspoongarlic powder
3teaspoonhot sauce (add more to taste)
pinch of black pepper
Instructions
Stir together the mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon, pickles, Worcestershire, smoked paprika, garlic powder, hot sauce, and black pepper in a small bowl until smooth.
Taste and adjust. For more heat, add extra hot sauce. Cover and refrigerate for 15 to 30 minutes if you have time.
Notes
The flavors come together as it chills, so give it 15 to 30 minutes in the fridge if you can.
For a tangier sauce, add a splash of pickle juice.
Keeps in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
Start with 2 teaspoons of hot sauce and add more gradually. It's easy to add heat, harder to take it away.
