Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups fresh green beans, ends trimmed
  • 2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 10 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup chopped or slivered almonds
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Clean greens and pinch off ends.
  • Add oil to a large skillet on medium heat.
  • Add garlic and sauté, stirring, for 1 minute, or until fragrant.
  • Add beans and sauté, stirring, for 5-7 minutes (don’t let the beans become too soft).
  • Add the chopped or slivered almonds and cook for 1 minute more.
  • Remove from heat and add salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
