These Easy Halloween Chocolate Covered Strawberries are the perfect treat for your Halloween party. 3 ingredients, no baking involved, and they take just minutes to prepare.
Wash and thoroughly dry all strawberries. Line a large baking pan with wax paper or a slipmat.
Melt the chocolate. You can do this a few ways: 1. In a saucepan, over low heat, 2. Using a double boiler, or 3. In the microwave, heating in 20 second intervals, with a good stir in between until melted.
Carefully dip each strawberry in the melted chocolate.
Carefully press two candy eyes into each strawberry. You’ll need to do this immediately after you dip each strawberry or else the chocolate will harden too quickly and you won’t be able to make the eyes stick.
Place the tray of halloween chocolate covered strawberries in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to fully harden.
Store in an airtight container for 4-5 days.
Notes
The chocolate will harden quickly so be sure to place the candy eyes on the strawberries after dipping each one. Use room temperature strawberries to help slow down the hardening time.
Use fresh strawberries, the larger the better!
Store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for 4-5 days.
