Ingredients

cups
fresh green beans, ends trimmed

tablespoon
extra virgin olive oil

cloves
garlic, minced
½
cup
chopped or slivered almonds
¼
teaspoon
crushed red pepper flakes
salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Instructions
Clean greens and pinch off ends.
Add oil to a large skillet on medium heat.
Add garlic and sauté, stirring, for 1 minute, or until fragrant.
Add beans and sauté, stirring, for 5-7 minutes (don’t let the beans become too soft).
Add the chopped or slivered almonds and cook for 1 minute more.
Remove from heat and add salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
