This Easy 7 Layer Greek Dip is made with a base of hummus and Greek yogurt and topped with cucumbers, olives, tomato, and feta, and is served with warm pita bread. It's a classic Mediterranean dip that's perfect for your next party or potluck! Just 15 minutes to make!

Why I Love This Easy Greek Dip
- Easy. This dip is so easy to make. No oven, nothing to cook over the stove, just chop, mix, assemble, and serve. It should take you all of 15 minutes!
- Make ahead. You can prepare most of the ingredients for this layered Greek dip ahead of time - just make the yogurt, chop the veggies, and store everything in the fridge until you're ready to assemble the full dish.
- Healthy. Everything in this seven-layer Greek dip is chock-full of good-for-you nutrients. (Which means you'll feel much less guilty when you eat half of it for your lunch!)
- Delicious. This delicious Greek appetizer goes great with everything and is perfect on its own or as a side to Greek chicken, steak, or lamb.
- Great for a party or potluck! This 7-layer Greek dip with hummus is the perfect sharing dish and will be right at home at your next potluck or party. (See also my 5-minute cottage cheese ranch dip, or my baked spinach and artichoke dip for more options!)
- Vegetarian. This is a great option for vegetarians (although you won't be able to keep it from meat lovers!).
Ingredients

- Greek Yogurt. This will serve as the base of your Greek yogurt dip, which will be the first layer of the dip. I combined the yogurt with feta, lemon, garlic, parsley, mint, scallions, coriander, salt, and pepper to make a divine Greek dip that can also be used on its own. (Hint - make a double batch!)
- Hummus. You can use plain old regular hummus in this layered hummus dip, or try a different variety for different variations on this dip. I used regular hummus here, but garlic or red pepper hummus would work well too.
- Cucumbers. These give the dip such a fresh and clean taste. Use English cucumbers for this dip since they are seedless and have thinner skin than regular cucumbers, making them nicer to eat.
- Cherry Tomatoes. I like using sliced cherry tomatoes for this recipe since they're not as watery as a full-sized tomato. But if a full tomato is all you have, it will work. Just be sure to drain the juices so the dip doesn't end up soggy.
- Diced Green Onions. If you don't have green onions/scallions on hand feel free to use diced red onions instead.
- Kalamata olives. A classic Greek ingredient adds a nice salty punch to the layered dip.
- Crumbled Feta Cheese. Even though I use whipped feta in the yogurt dip, I love adding a sprinkling of it on top of the dip for extra flavor and texture.
- Olive oil. I love drizzling this dip with a tiny bit of olive oil to add a bit of a finishing touch.

How To Make It
Making this Greek 7 layer dip is so simple, especially after you've prepped everything. Here's how you do it:
- The hardest part of this seven layer greek dip recipe is making the whipped feta and greek yogurt dip. But even that just involves a few pulses of your blender. Just combine the yogurt, lemon juice, and feta in a food processor or a high-speed blender and pulse several times until everything is combined. Then, add all the rest of the ingredients for the dip and pulse a few more times until well mixed.
- The rest of the process just involves layering the ingredients. I added the yogurt first here, then the hummus, followed by the cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, olives, and a sprinkling of feta. However, if you find your yogurt dip on the thinner side, and your hummus is thick, it's totally fine to layer the hummus first, followed by the yogurt to make spreading it easier.
- Once assembled, drizzle the greek layer dip with a bit of olive oil.

How To Serve
I could seriously eat this layered dip with a spoon, but there are tons of vehicles you could use to scoop up this goodness:
- Soft, warm pita bread
- Pita chips
- More veggies, like carrots, more cucumbers, and thick strips of red bell peppers.
- Tortilla chips

Helpful Hints
- Let the Greek yogurt dip set in the fridge for a little bit to make it a bit thicker. It will spread less when you add the hummus. If it seems thin, feel free to spread it on top of the hummus vs. the other way around.
- Stir the hummus well before adding it on top of the yogurt dips, and add it in dollops across the plate to make it easier.
- Make it ahead of time: Make the Greek yogurt dip ahead of time and chop all your veggies and store them separately. Everything will be ready to go when you're ready to assemble the layers.
- How to store: To store this 7-layer Greek dip, cover your serving dish with a lid, or wrap your serving platter with plastic wrap and store it in the fridge for up to 2 days.
